Our Story - About Me

I didn’t come to art from comfort—I came to it from survival.
There was a period in my life where everything familiar fell apart, and I had to rebuild from the ground up. In that space between loss and stability, creativity became my lifeline. Art wasn’t just expression—it was how I processed, healed, and slowly reclaimed my sense of self.

Over time, I realized that storytelling and visual work have the power to do more than just look beautiful. They help people feel seen. They help turn pain into something tangible, meaningful, and forward-moving. That belief is at the heart of everything I create.

SK9 Arts & Media was born from that journey. It exists to transform lived experience into connection, impact, and purpose. Beyond creating art and media, this brand is rooted in giving back—specifically to displaced mothers who are leaving toxic or unsafe relationships and starting over with very little support. These women are resilient, resourceful, and often invisible, and they deserve access to creativity, confidence, and community as tools for rebuilding their lives.

My goal is simple but powerful: to use art as a bridge—from survival to stability, from isolation to belonging. SK9 Arts & Media is about creating with intention, supporting healing through creativity, and helping others remember that rebuilding is not only possible—it can be beautiful.
